John Rosenbaum, retired television-radio associate professor, has published a chapter entitled, "In the EU's Image: Transformation of Broadcasting in Five Central and Eastern European States," in the book Changing Media Markets in Europe and Abroad: New Ways of Handling Information and Entertainment Content, edited by Angela Schorr and Stefan Seitmann and published in November 2006 by Pabst Science Publishers.

A longer version of the chapter had been selected as the top international paper by the Intercultural/Development Communication Division of the International Communication Association at its annual conference in 2003. Research for the chapter was conducted by Professor Rosenbaum in Europe from 2000 to 2002 while he was a member of the television-radio department.
