The Department of Recreation and Leisure Studies in collaboration with Alpine Ascents International is offering a 13-day Mountaineering course this summer led by professional leaders in the Cascade Mountains of Washington State: RLS-27800 Glacier Mountaineering, 2 credits, NLA, Pass/Fail

Instruction will include all aspects of snow, ice and alpine rock climbing with ascents of technical alpine rock peaks. This course is designed for beginning and intermediate climbers who are in excellent condition.

Students who are interested should attend the information meeetings on either Thursday, March 22 or Thursday, April 10 in Hill Center 62 at 12:15-1:00 p.m. Contact Dr. Margaret Arnold at marnold@ithaca.edu or call her at 274-1736 should you have questions.
