Ithaca College has suspended its affiliation with the School for International Training (SIT) as of March 15, effective immediately. Any student planning to study abroad with SIT during the upcoming academic year (summer, fall or spring) should contact the Office of International Programs right away to discuss other study abroad options. As of right now, sudy on SIT programs will be considered non-affiliated. This means that students will have to take a leave of absence to study on an SIT program. They will be able to receive transfer credit for some, but not all, credits taken on the SIT program, and will not be able to apply institutional financial aid (Ithaca College scholarships and grants) to the cost of the SIT program. Federal financial aid will still be eligible to cover the costs of an SIT program Please contact Rachel Cullenen (rcullenen@ithaca.eduor 274-3306)in the Office of International Programs for more information or to discuss your study abroad options. |
