On Saturday, March 31, several Ithaca College School of Music voice students won honors in the Central New York Finger Lakes District of the National Association of Teachers of Singing competition in Rochester, New York.

IC students won in the following divisions:



First year women

2nd place: Loreto Angulo-Pizarro, student of professor Deborah Montgomery



First year men

1st place (tie): Thomas Lehman, student of assistant professor Brad Hougham



Sophomore women

1st place: Melanie Wade, student of professor David Parks

2nd place: Teresa Cole, student of professor Patrice Pastore



Sophomore men

2nd place: Andrew Mattfeld, student of professor Patrice Pastore



Junior women

1st place: Danielle Edwards, student of professor Deborah Montgomery



Senior men

2nd place (tie): John Marnell, student of professor Deborah Montgomery



Advanced A

1st place: Andy Mccullough, student of professor David Parks
