Senior psychology major Jolie Baumann received an award was for presenting the poster, "Mood and Regulatory Focus: Evidence of Value from Fit," at the Eastern Psychological Association Convention in Philadelphia in March.

The students who co-authored and presented the poster were members of Professor Leigh Ann Vaughn's Social Judgment Research Team. Other team members were Christine Klemann, Adam Weber, Erin Abshere, Jessica Nuzzetti, Christine Dosch, Jennifer Rodgers, Lisa Schlessinger, Colin Flynn, Nathaniel Baum, and Bernis Ozses.

The Eastern Psychological Association conference is a professional meeting that draws attendees and presenters from colleges and universities across the northeastern United States and from several foreign countries. The students were fully supported by an Ithaca Fund grant of $1000 awarded to Leigh Ann Vaughn.

Psi Chi is the national honor sciety in psychology; Ms. Baumann has been a member since 2006.
