May Reminders from the Center for Faculty ExcellenceContributed by Susanne Morgan on 04/18/07 May 1 is the deadline to ensure inclusion in next year's Faculty Colloquium Series, the theme of which is scholarship with an international focus. May 15 is the annual Spring Faculty Conference, highlighting types of scholarship at Ithaca College.
May 21-24 is the May Institute, "Teaching Tomorrow's Students." The morning of May 15, the Klingenstein Lounge is the site for five faculty presentations of scholarly work that represents each of the types of scholarship in our Faculty Handbook. See the program of the annual Spring Faculty Conference. The May Institute, May 21-24, includes four days of informative, active sessions to help us effectively teach the Class of 2011. Two days are open to all and two days are limited to those who teach, or who are interested in teaching, in the Ithaca Seminar Program. For more information on the Center for Faculty Excellence, go to the virtual center or contact Susanne Morgan, morgan@ithaca.edu.
