A candlelight vigil will be held on Thursday, April 19, at 8:00 p.m. in Muller Chapel in support of the victims and survivors of the Virginia Tech shootings. Students, staff, and faculty are invited to come together in reflection and to support the members of our own community who were directly touched by this tragedy.

Virginia Tech family members across the country have united to declare this Friday, April 20th as an "Orange and Maroon Effect Day" to honor those killed in the tragic events on the Virginia Tech campus and to show support for Virginia Tech students, faculty, administrators, staff, alumni and friends. Everyone from all over the country is invited to become a part of the Virginia Tech family this Friday by wearing maroon and/or orange.

This is a great event, everyone who can should come out tonight and show their support for those at Virginia Tech. It means alot to people like me who are impacted personally with this. Thanks Mike
