Margaret Arnold, therapeutic recreation and leisure studies, and Margaret Nowicki, management, presented a seminar entitled, "What? I'm Now the HR Director Too?" at the New York State Recreation and Park Society's annual conference in Buffalo.

The featured three-hour seminar was geared toward public recreation managers from New York State and addressed HR issues pertaining to employment laws, performance appraisals, employee discipline, and legalities of hiring. The ongoing research for this project is funded by a grant from the Center for Faculty Research and Development.
