Psychology students presented 8 oral presentations and 14 poster presentations at the annual convention of the Eastern Psychological Association, Eastern Colleges Science Conference, University of Scranton Psychology Conference, and Sigma Xi Research Conference on Saturday, April 21.

The presentations were the culmination of student work with faculty on research teams and on independent research projects. You can see a listing of the titles of the student presentations from this year and past years on the psychology department's website.

Psychology students have been presenting their research at ECSC and at the University of Scranton Psychology Conference for over two decades.

The students conducted their studies as part of their work on the research teams that study human motivation (Professor Mary Turner DePalma), cognitive development (Professor Nancy Rader), psychology of humor (Professor Barney Beins), psychology of television and other media (Professor Cyndy Scheibe), social judgment (Professor Leigh Ann Vaughn), and development and educational psychology (Professor Judith Pena-Shaff)
