If you missed the presentation on May 2 concerning the USPS Rate Increase taking effect on May 14, the link below should help you understand the impact it can have on the College and your department’s postage budget.

Important Points:

• Letter mail cannot exceed ¼" thick (5 pages tri-folded)
• Letter mail cannot exceed 3.5 ounces
• Utilizing a 6x9 envelope (Order from the Duplicating Center) can reduce postage costs.
  
  

If your department uses the Bulk Mail area to process Non-Profit Standard Flats, there will be a significant increase in your postage costs of 40% or more. Consider changing the design to meet the size requirements of a letter.
