Public Safety Alert

Contributed by David Maley on 05/08/07

A resident of Ithaca College Circle Apartments building 5 reported waking up at about 1:45 a.m. on Sunday, May 6, to observe four male subjects in the apartment. The resident confronted the subjects and asked them to leave. The subjects left without incident after removing a beverage item from the refrigerator. It appears that the subjects entered the apartment through an unlocked sliding glass door.

The resident described the subjects as follows:

—Three white males, all about 5’10,” 180 lbs., with one of the white males having short brown hair and wearing a blue Boston Red Sox t-shirt.

—One black male, about 5’10,” 190 lbs., with a large muscular upper body, wearing a tight, green short-sleeve shirt.

An immediate search of the area by Public Safety officers was unsuccessful in locating the subjects.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Office of Public Safety at 274-3333.

Students are reminded to keep their residence hall room and apartment doors locked at all times for their own safety.
