Ithaca College graduated many teachers besides the 14 that decided to go for Teach for America. The teachers that completed the bachelors program also are committed to changing the current problems that schools face today, and should get recognition. Not only are these future teachers committed to solving issues such as educational inequality, they are fully trained and certified by NYS. They have prepared for a career in education by taking vigorous coursework, and by completing a student teaching placement for an entire semester.
