Kim Dunnick, professor of music and chair of the performance studies department, presented a session at the recent International Trumpet Guild conference, held at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, May 29 through June 2.

Dunnick presented a session on May 30 entitled, "Reclaiming the Chops: How To Build and Maintain Your Embouchure After a 20-Year Hiatus." The session was targeted for non-professional players who performed in high school or college and then put the trumpet away for 20 years or more, but now want to start again.
