John Rosenbaum, retired associate professor in the television-radio department, presented a refereed paper at the annual International Communication Association conference in San Francisco on May 27, 2007. His presentation, "Ritual Communication in Action at Connemara Community Radio," was based on field research he conducted in the Republic of Ireland between 1990 and 2005.

Research conducted prior to Professor Rosenbaum’s retirement in 2004 was supported in part by a grant from the Center for Faculty Excellence.
