For the third year in a row, ICTV's Newswatch 16 won for Best Regularly Scheduled Local News Program in the College Station competition sponsored by the New York State Associated Press Broadcasters Association (NYSAPBA). This year's award was given for the March 4, 2007, newscast.

The judges commented: "The anchors were by far the best we saw, [and] the team was polished. Newscast was well produced and says: they 'get it.' These folks have a future in the broadcast news business."

The newscast was anchored by Ana Liss '07 and Cody Holyoke '07, who also produced. They are now reporting at stations in Elmira, New York, and Montgomery, Alabama, respectively. Joe McCormick '09 directed, and Becky Goodling '09 was news director.
