This is a reminder about the campuswide electrical shutdown on Sunday, August 5, which is necessary in order to perform required maintenance to the College's electrical system.
In preparation for this electrical shutdown, the computer systems on campus will be going down on Saturday, August 4, at 7:00 p.m. It is anticipated that all computer systems will be operational by 9:00 p.m. on August 5.
It is the advice of Information Technology Services that all computers, printers, and other electronic devices be unplugged prior to this shutdown. Please communicate this to the appropriate personnel within your department.
This shutdown is scheduled to start Sunday at 6:00 a.m. and the projected completion time is 6:00 p.m.
As always, staff from the Office of Facilities will be on duty during and after this interruption to ensure all systems resume their normal functions. Please feel free to call 4-3225 if you have any questions or concerns.
