Srijana Bajracharya, associate professor of health promotion and physical education, presented a paper at a discussion during Oxford Round Table, held August 5 through 10 at Oxford University.

She was among 40 people from around the United States who were invited to join Oxford Round Table based on their work in the field of community health and preventive medicine. Presentations were made by this small interdisciplinary group of scholars throughout the week during formal sessions in the Rhodes House -- the chamber of the historic Oxford Union Debating Society and home of the Rhodes Scholars.

The theme of the discussion was "Preventive Health: Intervention and Progress." Professor Bajracharya's paper, titled "Community-Based Health Education Intervention: A Service-Learning Approach," highlighted her work throughout her career in this field. It was well received and appreciated by the fellow discussion leaders.
