Student Volunteers from the annual Community Plunge program will team up with Family & Children's Service of Ithaca for a “Back to School Bonanza” school supply drive and fundraiser today and Saturday, from 9am to 2pm, at Staples at 742 South Meadow St.

The fundraiser will feature a small tent set up outside Staples to offer shoppers popcorn, bottled water, balloons, face painting and carnival games in exchange for cash donations. Proceeds from the event will help families served at Family & Children's Service purchase back to school supplies for their children.

Shoppers can also purchase back to school supplies to donate in collection bins at the Bonanza tent. If you have the opportunity tomorrow, please stop by at Staples and support our Plungers as well as make a donation - either of dollars or supplies.
