Norman Vorano, Curator of the Museum of Contemporary Inuit Art at the Museum of Civilization (Canada) will give a lecture entitled "Hunting for Traditions: The Historical Development of Inuit Art in Canada" at 4:00 p.m. on September 11 in Gannett 112.

Dr. Vorano has been invited to Ithaca College by Cheryl Kramer's exhibition seminar, an art history course in which the students are curating an exhibition on Inuit Art that will open in the Handwerker Gallery in February 2008.

The talk is free an open to the public.
