For close to 15 years, the Department of Sport Management and Media has hosted the Careers in Sport Symposium, drawing upon the rich experiences and enormous generosity of our graduates and friends who share their expertise and insights with our students (undergraduate and graduate) and aspiring sport professionals.

This year's program features over 20 panelists and speakers representing various sectors of the sport and related industries, including

This program is free and open to the public. We welcome participation from students regardless of major at Ithaca College as well as throughout the region and local community. High school students thinking about majoring in sport management, sport media, or sport studies are also welcome to attend. Ithaca College graduates, parents of current students, and people simply interested in the topics are all encouraged to attend.

The program begins with coffee and continental breakfast at 9am in the Center for Health Sciences (CHS) lobby. Sessions start at 9:30am and will run on the hour through 12:30pm.
