The School of Music and Music Educators National Conference's Adult Special Research Interest Group are hosting a Music and Lifelong Learning Symposium on the IC campus September 27-29.

Twenty-five papers by researchers from around the world will be given on the topic of adult and community music making. The keynote speaker is Professor Judith Jellison from University of Texas.

In addition, IC voICes will be opening the symposium with a short concert, and John Sigg and Barb Belyea from the physical therapy department and exercise and sport sciences department will be speaking on the topic, "Posture and the Musician: Core Strength."
