A wonderful multimedia exhibit, From Downtown to South Hill: Ithaca College Is Ithaca’s College, is currently on display at The History Center in Tompkins County at 401 East State Street (the Gateway Center).

The exhibit, which will run through February 28, 2008, celebrates the rich and enduring partnership between the College and the community, including the role the Friends of Ithaca College have played in IC’s success.

You can tour the exhibit during regular History Center hours: Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Admission is free.

You’re also invited to the exhibit’s grand opening, during Homecoming Weekend:

Saturday, October 6, 2007
10:00 a.m.–noon
and
Sunday, October 7, 2007
10:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.

Admission to the grand opening is free, and refreshments will be served. Mary Arlin ’61, retired IC music professor, will lead a walking tour of the former downtown campus on Saturday and Sunday at 11:00 a.m.
