Are you interested in encouraging Ithaca College students, faculty, and staff to participate in the 2008 election process? Then consider joining the 2008 Voter Registration and Education Committee. Our first meeting will be Tuesday, September 25, at 12:10 p.m. in the Center for Natural Sciences Building, room 115.
The role of this committee will be to support students, faculty, and staff in registering to vote, and to educate the Ithaca College community about upcoming elections (including the 2008 presidential election), the election process, and the candidates involved in these elections.
This non-partisan group will not endorse any political agendas, but will exist to support members of the IC community in participating fully in the political process.
If you're interested in participating, contact Doreen Hettich-Atkins at dhettichatkins@ithaca.edu or come to our first meeting.
Additional meetings for the semester are scheduled for:
Thursday, October 11, 12:10 p.m., CNS 115
Thursday, November 15, 12:10 p.m., CNS 115
