The students in the Styles of Acting class would like to invite you over to their house.

The House of Atreus, that is.

On Tuesday, October 2, at 1:30 p.m. and Wednesday, October 3, at 12:15 p.m. in the Clark Theatre of Dillingham Center, acting and musical theater majors in the Department of Theatre Arts will perform individual speeches by famous characters from such Greek tragedies, including Agamemnon, Ajax, Antigone, Electra (by both Sophocles and Euripides), Hecuba, Iphigenia at Aulis, Orestes, and Trojan Women.

They will also perform, as a group, one of the choruses from Antigone.

Admission is free. The Tuesday presentation should last about a half-hour and the Wednesday presentation about an hour.

We hope you can join us for some or all of the speeches. Feel free to bring your lunch, arrive late, or leave early.
