A delegation from the African country of Namibia will be visiting Ithaca College to discuss the challenges they face with reproductive health and HIV/AIDS.

The delegation, which includes the Honorable Petrina Haingura, the Namibian deputy minister of health and social services, will visit two classes on Tuesday, October 2, at 1:10 and 2:35 p.m. in Smiddy Hall 325.

There will also be a reception in their honor in the CHS Atrium from 4:00 to 5:30 that same afternoon.

The delegation also includes representatives from the Namibian Planned Parenthood Association. The discussion is open to all in the Ithaca College community, but space is limited.

The event is sponsored by the Department of Health Promotion and Physical Education and the dean's office in the School of Health Sciences and Human Performance, in collaboration with Planned Parenthood of the Southern Finger Lakes.
