"TroICa," a trio of Ithaca College School of Music faculty members, will present a free program of music for saxophone, trumpet, and piano on Sunday, September 30 at 4:00 in the Hockett Family Recital Hall. (This concert was postponed from September 23.)

Steven Mauk, Kim Dunnick, and Diane Birr will perform world premieres by composers Marc Satterwhite and Dominick DiOrio, as well as music by Rivier and Lawrence. DiOrio is a recent graduate of the school of music now pursuing studies at Yale. Satterwhite's work is entitled "Stolen Song Titles." The group's name alludes to the fact that Mauk and Dunnick have performed on several occasions in Russia, where the word "troika" refers to a trio, a sled drawn by three horses, and to a folk dance.
