Trombonist Harold Reynolds will present a free recital at 8:15 on Wednesday, October 3, in the Hockett Family Recital Hall at Ithaca College. A professor of music performance at the School of Music, Reynolds will be joined by pianist Andrea Merrill and marimbist Gordon Stout for this recital. All works on the program were either commissioned by Reynolds or written for him by composers Paul Goldstaub, Ken Kreuzer, and Frank Siekmann.

Reynolds has performed as principal trombone with the Tri-Cities Opera Orchestra, the Charleston Symphony Orchestra, and the Greensboro Symphony Orchestra. Prior to teaching at Ithaca College, he taught at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and the University of Texas at San Antonio.
