Ithaca College

The national office of Sigma Iota Epsilon Management Honorary named Ithaca College's Zeta Iota chapter as national chapter of the year for 2006-2007. This is the sixth time in eight years that Ithaca College has won the National Chapter of the Year award!

Dr. G. James Francis, president of SIE, said: "You remain the benchmark for chapters across the country and I hope that others will emulate how your chapter conducts business and what you have accomplished."

Dr. Francis also congratulated last year's chapter president, Jennifer Tastle '07 (a double major in accounting and applied psychology) for her outstanding initiative, involvement, dedication, and significant contributions toward achieving Sigma Iota Epsilon goals and objectives.

The national award will be presented to the chapter at the new member induction program on Friday, October 26, at 4:00 p.m. in Emerson Suites. New Jersey entrepreneur Kevin Gabinelli, of Gabinelli and Gebhard, will speak to the topic, "Management Matters." All members of the campus community are welcome to attend.
