His Holiness the Dalai Lama Visit -- A Special Thank You

Ithaca College was honored to host His Holiness the Dalai Lama on October 10 for a Dharma teaching entitled, "Eight Verses on Training the Mind." I would like to thank all members of the campus community for your flexibility, cooperation, and enthusiasm as we welcomed many guests to campus for this special event.

I would especially like to thank and congratulate members of the planning committee and the many volunteers and staff for their role in ensuring the success of this important event.

I hope those of you who attended the event in the Hill Center, or viewed the ICTV broadcast or webcast, enjoyed this unique opportunity, and his message will inspire all of us to celebrate the differences within our community.
