Surplus Items For Sale

The Purchasing Department is offering for sale on a sealed-bid basis the following surplus items released from the facilities maintenance department.

Items for sale may be inspected Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the facilities carpenter shop on Coddington Road. All items will be sold in "as-is, where-is" condition without guarantee and without any expressed or implied warranty by Ithaca College.

All bids should be submitted in a sealed envelope. Bids must include item number and description, bid amount, bidder's name, address, daytime telephone, date, and signature, and should be submitted to: Gail Wagner, Ithaca College Purchasing Department, 1414 West Tower, Ithaca, NY 14850 by 3:00 p.m. on Monday, October 29.

Ithaca College reserves the right to reject any or all bids. All bidders will be notified by the purchasing department as soon as possible after the bid closure date.

The successful bidder is responsible for payment to the Ithaca College purchasing department by check payable to Ithaca College (no cash, please) prior to picking up the sale items. Eight percent NYS sales tax will be added to the sale price. All items must be removed from College premises within one week after notification and purchase. A receipt for bill of sale will be given to the successful buyer after payment at the purchasing department.

Item #1: Dust Collector, for woodworking equipment, etc., 7-8 years old, lightly used, in excellent condition.

Item #2 Band saw, small, in working condition.

Item #3 Genie Lift, aluminum, broken and not in working condition, 20 years old. NOTE: Reserve minimum bid of $250 required.
