The exhibition How We Look: Images of Aging will open at the Handwerker Gallery on Thursday, October 25.

A juried photography exhibition aimed at increasing student awareness of stereotypes of aging, How We Look also provides the student-photographers the opportunity to express how they feel or perceive older persons in general or with whom they had a personal connection. This exhibition was juried by Janice Levy, Sheryl Sinkow, and John Krout and cosponsored by the Gerontology Institute.

An opening reception will take place from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on October 25, and the exhibition will run through December 14. John Krout, director of the Gerontology Institute, and jurors Janice Levy and Sheryl Sinkow will deliver a gallery talk at 12:15 p.m. on November 6.

All Handwerker Gallery events are free and open to the public. The Handwerker is open Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; Thursday, 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.; and Saturday and Sunday, noon to 5:00 p.m.
