South Hill Clean-Up

Contributed by Brian McAree on 10/24/07

The South Hill Civic Association is sponsoring its annual fall neighborhood clean-up of South Hill, this Saturday, October 27, from noon to 4:00 p.m.

We need volunteers to pick up garbage, recyclables, and returnables.

Our intention is to clean up the streets and sidewalks of the area bounded in the north by the intersection of Hudson and Aurora Streets, as far south as Hillview Place, Turner Place on the west, and Hudson Street on the east.

See the following map if you need directions:

Garbage bags will be provided. We will deliver bags to volunteers the evening before or the day of the clean-up.

Clean-up will also be done at Columbia and Hillview Parks, and the Recreation Walkway at Renzetti Place and Hudson Street.

This is our effort to clean up our South Hill neighborhood. For more information, or to volunteer, call me at 256-8547 or John Graves at 272-6415.

Thanks,
Gary Anderson
President, South Hill Civic Association
