Plan to attend the Veterans Celebration, and you can hear what Rev. Henery has to say about boot camp and other exciting thoughts.

The fifth annual Veterans Day celebration will be held on Thursday, November 8, at noon in Emerson Suites.

This year's speaker is Rev. James Henery, a Vietnam veteran and pastor of the Ithaca First Presbyterian Church. Rev. Henery will share his story during the 50-minute celebration.

The master of ceremonies for the event will be retired Ithaca College professor Douglas Armstrong, a veteran of the U.S. Army who served as an infantry platoon leader during the Korean War.

The event will also include the posting of the colors by IC/CU ROTC, music by IC voICes, and the IC Brass Choir.
