Ithaca College

Jodi Cohen, professor of speech communication, recently published an article in the November 2007 issue of the Journal of Language and Society. The article, entitled "Drawing on the Words of Others: Zoning, Wal-Mart, and the Threat to the Aquifer," is part of a long-term project regarding risk communication.

The paper was coauthored with Richard Buttny and won a top paper award at the International Communication Association's conference in May 2007.
