Asma Barlas, director of the Center for the Study of Culture, Race, and Ethnicity, has published an article, "Still Quarrelling over the Qur'an: Five Interventions," in the ISIM Review (published by the Institute for the Study of Islam in the Modern World in the Netherlands).

She also gave a talk at the Sage Chapel Vespers Service (Cornell) on November 4, titled "Hearing the Word, as a Muslim: Thirteen passages of the Qur'an and Religious Diversity."
