Senior athletic training majors Emily Ambrose and Caleb Crowell recently had case study abstracts accepted for poster presentation at the 60th annual meeting of the Eastern Athletic Trainers' Association January 11-14, 2008, in Valley Forge, Pennsylvania.

Caleb's abstract is entitled "Right Achilles Tendon Partial Rupture in a Collegiate Football Player: A Clinical Case Report", while Emily submitted her abstract entitled "Multiple Anterior Cruciate Ligament Failure in a College Football Player and the Corresponding Surgical Techniques of Reconstruction: A Case Report."

Additionally, Emily's abstract was selected as one of three undergraduate research finalists.

Judging for this award will take place at the annual meeting, with the winner being recognized at the EATA Awards Banquet on Saturday, January 12, 2008.

Assistant clinical professors Chris Hummel and Todd Lazenby from the Department of Exercise and Sport Sciences were the supervising clinicians and coauthors for both research projects.
