The holidays are right around the corner and there are many ways you can help those with whom you work every day.
Some of our coworkers are suffering a hardship or unforeseen circumstance, which makes it difficult for them to purchase Christmas gifts for their children. You or your department can help by "adopting a family" to purchase their children's wish list items.
Purchasing gifts is not necessary for all families, but many continue to need and appreciate donations of food and family essentials. We are asking individuals or departments to create a gift basket of family essentials: laundry soap, cleaning supplies, tissues, paper products, personal hygiene items, soap, shampoo, etc. Grocery gift cards are also appreciated by the families and may be added to these baskets.
