Patricia Zimmermann, professor of cinema, photography, and media arts, delivered the keynote address at the Future Histories of the Moving Image conference at the University of Sunderland, England, on November 15. Her address was entitled "Migratory Archives."

The conference was hosted by the Centre for Research in Media and Cultural Studies at the University of Sunderland, the British Artist's Film and Video Study Collection, and the academic journal, Convergences: The International Journal of Research into New Media Technologies.
