John Bradac, director of career services, has been named a 2008 Diamond Honoree by the Educational Leadership Foundation of the American College Personnel Association (ACPA).
Established by the ACPA Foundation in 1999, the Diamond Honoree program recognizes individuals for their "outstanding and sustained contributions to higher education and to student affairs."
This is the third award that John has received for his work with ACPA. Previously he was a recipient of the Commission for Career Development's Distinguished Service Award and he received the Outstanding Mentor to Graduate Students award from the Standing Committee for Graduate Students and New Professionals.
The mission of the ACPA Educational Leadership Foundation is "to enhance the student affairs profession and to generate and disseminate knowledge of college students at all levels within higher education". To this end, the Diamond Honoree program raises funds on behalf of its honorees. Monies are used for ACPA and foundation activities, in keeping with the association's purposes and strategic goals.
