Verizon and ITS are working together to install new telephone and voice mail systems. As part of this project, all multi-line display phones will be replaced. Single-line (non-display) phones will not be replaced.

If you currently have a multi-line display phone:

  • Expect to receive a replacement phone the week of December 17
  • Leave the phone in the box that it comes in
  • Leave the box under or as close as possible to the existing phone. Technicians will need to have easy access to the new phone the weekend of January 4th
  • Do not plug the new phone into the jack (it will not work until the new phone system is activated late in the day on January 4)
  • The existing multi-line phone will be removed and the new phone will be connected by technicians the weekend of January 4
  • A user guide will be included with the new phone
  • If you use a multi-line display phone and do not receive a replacement phone by the afternoon of January 2, contact the Helpdesk to request one
