The Handwerker Gallery is pleased to announce that the traveling exhibition, Blue Like Me: Recent Work by Siona Benjamin, has opened at the Hermitage Foundation Museum in Norfolk, Virginia.

Curated by Handwerker director Cheryl Kramer, Blue Like Me focuses on Indian-Jewish painter Siona Benjamin's "Finding Home" series, in which she explores issues of identity and belonging. Through these paintings, Benjamin questions what and where "home" is, both spiritually and literally, as well as the role of art in social change. An illustrated catalog accompanies the exhibition.

The exhibition will remain on display until January 25, 2008.
