Dr. Nancy Cornwell will join the Television-Radio Department as Associate Professor and Chair beginning January 1, 2008.

Dr. Cornwell is coming from Linfield College in McMinnville, Oregon where she was an associate professor and chair of the Department of Mass Communication. At Linfield, Dr. Cornwell was responsible for teaching video production, web design, media law, and the First Amendment. She received her Bachelor's degree from St. Lawrence University, her Master's from Syracuse University, and her Ph.D. from the University of Colorado at Boulder. She will be teaching a section of Government and Media in the spring semester.
