Double Reed Professors Recognized for Regional Contribution

The Strategic Tourism Planning Board, a citizen's advisory board to the Tompkins County Legislature, has voted to recognize associate professor of music performance Paige Morgan and professor of music performance Lee Goodhew Romm with the Tompkins Tourism Partner Award, in honor of the contributions the International Double Reed Society conference made to the region in 2007.

Morgan and Romm, who hosted the conference last June, will get their names on a brick paving stone on the Waterfront Trail and will be recognized at a upcoming Tompkins County Legislature meeting.
