Auditions are open to all Ithaca College students and will be held January 22 and 23.
Be a part of the energy and excitement of Ithaca College Theatre's quadrennial dance concert, "Dance: No Translation Needed." To get more information and to sign up for an audition time slot, go to the call board in the hallway by the scene shop in Dillingham Center (just ask someone if you are lost!). The dance concert is presented once every four years, so now is your chance to work with our celebrated dance faculty and perform on Ithaca College Theatre's main stage. "Dance: No Translation Needed" performances will be held March 25-30 and will feature original work by dance faculty including Mary Corsaro, Amy O'Brien, Elizabeth Livesay, and Lindsay Gilmour. Help us tell stories through the language of dance in the styles and traditions of jazz, ballet, modern, and tap.
Also, the Department of Theatre Arts is proud to co-host a residency by the world-renowned Paul Taylor Dance Company this spring semester. Company members will teach classes and do a special performance for area residents at Wells College on Saturday, February 16.
