As part of the Martin Luther King Jr. Day celebration, there will be a free concert at 8:15 p.m. on Monday, January 21, in Ford Hall. Guest speaker MC Lyte will dramatize one of Dr. King's speeches, and there will be musical performances by vocalists and instrumentalists from the School of Music.

Participants include faculty pianist John White, the Chorus, Amani Gospel Singers, Trombone Troupe, Women's Chorale, Vocal Jazz Ensemble, and the Choir, as well as other soloists and small ensembles.
