It's back, it's strong, and it's looking for items to auction! The sixth annual Bursar's Benefit Auction will be held April 2, and we are looking for interesting items to auction. Get a nice appliance, outfit, or book for the holidays that's not quite you? Feel good about yourself by donating it to a worthy cause!
Now in its sixth year of raising funds for the community, the Bursar's Benefit Auction is one of the most sought-after events of the spring semester. This year we are delighted to welcome the financial aid staff to our event in anticipation of our soon-to-be-merged offices (Student Financial Services)!
We are raising money this year for two wonderful local causes: Cayuga Addiction Recovery Services (CARS) and the Southside Community Center. Let's show them how much Ithaca cares and raise as much as we can for these worthwhile organizations!
This is where we need your help. Politely put, we need goods -- and plenty of them! If you have a special talent or craft, if you have items you have received but have never used, if you have connections to any organizations that you think people would be interested in, please let us know. One of the things that makes our event so special is the wealth of generosity from the entire community to make sure that our auction is highly successful! Contact the bursar's office at 274-3135 if you have items you would like to donate, or e-mail us at bursar@ithaca.edu. Thanks!
Stay tuned to Intercom for auction updates! Back by popular demand, our highly sought-after auctioneers, Sam Lapp and Duane Corbin, will lead the live auction bidding. Catch them now before they hit the road to Hollywood! As always, thank you for your help in raising money for worthy causes.
