Former Longtime Faculty Member Harvey Fireside Passes Away

Harvey Fireside, the Charles A. Dana Professor Emeritus of Politics, passed away on Friday, February 1, at his home in Ithaca.

Harvey had remained active following his retirement from Ithaca College in 1996 after 28 years of distinguished service. He published a number of books about the U.S. Constitution and helped to spearhead a group of retired faculty and staff members dedicated to finding ways to help the Ithaca community and stay connected to each other.
