Walk Now for Autism

Contributed by Annette Harris on 02/20/08

The Autism Speaks “Walk Now for Autism” fundraising walk will be held in Rochester, NY on Saturday, Sept. 20th, 2008. Autism is the fasting-growing serious development disability and there is currently no medical detection or cure for it.

This walk is a family-friendly event so plan to bring the whole family. There will be activities for the children, resources for families, light refreshments and entrainment. More importantly we will be raising money to continue research and promote awareness about Autism. If you would like to participate in this walk, sponsor a walker, or learn more about the event or Autism please contact Annette Harris at aharris@ithaca.edu or via phone at 274-1530.
