The Ithaca College Chamber Orchestra, led by Jeffery Meyer, will present a free concert on Wednesday, March 5, at 8:15 in Ford Hall in the James J. Whalen Center for Music. A featured work is "City Life" by Jeffrey Hass, which was selected as the winner in the Heckscher Composition Competition.

Besides the opportunity to have his work performed, Hass received a $4,000 prize for submitting the best work for chamber orchestra by a composer of any age or nationality.

The program also includes Ravel's "Le Tombeau de Couperin" and Charles Ives' third symphony. Two suites for small orchestra by Igor Stravinksy complete the program.
