National Nutrition Month is the perfect time to invest in a healthier lifestyle. As a college student, I understand it can difficult to fit college and health into the same sentence, but it can be easier than you think! The Ithaca College Dining Services website offers great resources to help guide a healthier lifestyle. Daily menus are always posted weeks ahead of time; use these menus to help plan and navigate which dining hall is offering the healthiest options. In addition, we have a nutrition section on our website that offers helpful tools like the nutrition calculator which will help you count calories, articles on different nutrition topics, and also a section where you can ask the Registered Dietician personal questions! We also have a “healthy eating” section that shows each months health topic, along with handouts, recipes, and brochures. This website is very beneficial for any student struggling to maintain or adopt a healthier lifestyle! Use this resource; that’s what it’s there for!
Ithaca Dining Services hosts healthy events, and other fun events each month. For more information regarding Ithaca Dining Services explore www.ithacadiningservices.com.
